The Detail:

Bought a dining room table from Jerome’s of San Marcos in October. They delivered it scratched which I did not see until the next day. Arranged to have it replaced after having to make several phone calls. They deliver the table but leave me with the old leaf telling me it’s fine. It isn’t. Find out when I go to use it for the holidays that it doesn’t fit the new table properly. Make yet another appointment for someone to show up just to say they can’t do anything with it. Supposedly getting a replacement. At the last minute, they cancel saying they don’t have the legs and hardware. Schedule for the following week. Again, last minute cancellation saying that the one they have left is damaged. Several more phone calls for them to offer me a pittance of a refund or replace the table that I have already spent a bunch of money decorating around because it turns out, they’ve discontinued the one I have.

If you want to make a million phone calls, be on hold forever, not get a return call, miss a bunch of work, and not get the furniture that you paid for, by all means, shop at Jerome’s

Otherwise, I respectfully suggest that you go somewhere else, ANYWHERE else.
